There! Now that's out of the way. Dues are used to finance speakers, workshops, meeting refreshments and advertising. Guests get the first meeting for free... and a second meeting, too, if you're having a difficult time deciding whether or not you wish to join.

When do we meet? We meet the third Saturday of each month, except during July, August and December. Meetings normally start around 10am, then a short break to grab a cup of coffee, munch on some treats and chat with other writers. Afer break we usually have a speaker or a group activity until around noon, noon-thirty. After the meeting, it has become customary for many of the members to gather and catch lunch at a local eatery. Visitors are always welcome to join since the discussions can get to be quite rousing!

Who are we? Our writing group is comprised of varied writers from total novice to the much experienced, well published author. Some have made it in the big-name book publishers while others have used self-publishing and other avenues. Our members write in a variety of genres, from poetry to children's books to fantasy to creative non-fiction and many more.
